To Ditch or Not To Ditch The Scale

The dreaded scale. Its how so many judge their success, their health and their self worth. I don’t know about you but I have stepped onto that bad boy a time or two and have not been thrilled about what it read. I’ve felt defeated after several days or heck weeks of clean eating, moving my body with intense workouts and not seeing the number budge or worse watching it go up. I think many of us, especially of the female variety, can get pretty caught up on that number.

I’ve been there, you start to heal that last round of acne scars and the welts are just starting to flatten out again. You allow yourself to get a little excited, maybe that was the time, like for real. Then just as you get giddy with excitement about how much clearer your skin has gotten BAM Mother Nature strikes again and your face is covered in welts, painful bumps and you’re back to where you started last month.
